    I am guessing that when you signed up for whatever service it was with the large corporation, you had to give them your home address.

    All they do, is just verify that your name matches the zipcode on your home address/whatever address you’ve provided them

    There is no repository or software or database that has everyone’s information on it, that’s in violation of privacy laws. A company cannot collect someone’s information (such as their address) without their consent.
