just depends on the business, and how many people you have workin for you. Most key systems that a small business or even a medium size business will have the capability for both. they will just need to buy the associated hardware. Same thing for large businesses ecept they might get a PBX.
My suggestion if you have a secratary that takes calls for a few people, it would be practical to have digital phones, that can be programed with more than one ext. If its just you and maybe 4 or 5 other people you can probably do with out.
